Adluri Lakshman: 'Best Available School' should be implemented in all schools

Hyderabad: SC, ST, Minority and Divyang Welfare Minister Adluri Lakshman said that the Best Available School Scheme should be implemented in all private and corporate schools in the state. He said that all the pending bills of the Gurukuls till April have been cleared. There is no need for any parents of the students to worry, this government has cleared the pending bills till April. SC, ST and Minority and DivyangWelfare Minister Adluri Lakshmanclarified that all the dues have been paid. On Tuesday, Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka held a review meeting with the officials of the Gurukuls.

Call for tenders

Later, Minister Adluri Laxman, along with SC Gurukula Society Secretary Dr. VS Alagu Varshini, spoke to the media at the Secretariat. He said that tenders will be called soon for uniforms, shoes and books for students and they will be given to the students. He said that his government is not doing anything like the BRS government that was in power for the last ten years.

Diet, cosmetic charges

He said that all private and corporate schools in the state should reserve 25 percent seats for SC and ST students under the Best Available School Scheme. He said that only some corporate schools are providing these seats and the rest are not. The Minister said that the diet and cosmetic charges have been increased and paid and that steps have been taken without any problems in welfare, Gurukul and Best Available Schools.
