China Maglev Train: A wheelless train that travels faster than an airplane

While ordinary passenger jets travel at a speed of 547 to 575 miles per hour.. this superfast train can reach a maximum speed of 600 kilometers per hour (about 373 miles). The most amazing thing is that.. this train can reach its maximum speed in just 7 seconds. Notably, it covers a distance of 1,200 kilometers in just 150 minutes (i.e. 2.5 hours). For example, it will reduce the travel time between Beijing and Shanghai, which currently takes 5.5 hours, to 2.5 hours.

When it was tested in June 2025, the train was said to weigh 1.1 tons. It has a very delicate bullet-shaped nose. Meanwhile, China's high-speed rail system is the largest in the world. By the end of last year, it had expanded to a total of 48 thousand kilometers. This year, it aims to increase it to 50 thousand kilometers. On the other hand, Beijing is also making progress in the development of high-speed trains. It has already unveiled the CR450 bullet train. It travels at a maximum speed of 450 kilometers per hour.
