Terrorist Arrest: Two terrorists arrested in Rayachoti town

A terrorist incident took placein Rayachoti, Annamayya district .Two terrorists who had been roaming around without being caught by the police for more than two decades were arrested. The locals were shocked by this arrest. Abubakkar and Mohammed Ali alias Yusuf are brothers from Melapalayam in Kerala. The two had been involved in terrorist activities for the last thirty years without coming into the police's attention. Finally, the Tamil Nadu Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) caught them. Abubakkar, who has been on the run since 1995, runs a small shop under the name Amanullah in Kothapalle village of Rayachoti town. The locals call him 'Kutty'. The people around him do not know his real past.

Muhammad Ali accused in bomb blasts case

In this sequence, his younger brother Mohammed Ali was the main accused in the bomb attacks in Tamil Nadu and Kerala in 1999. He built his own house on Mahbubbasha Street in Rayachoti and settled there. He tried to hide his real history with a saree business and a small shop.

Locals' suspicions about them have now come to light.

Locals have already recalled that the two had disappeared for several months. They explained that they would say they were going somewhere on business. But now the truth behind those words has come to light.

The town that became a haven for terrorists investigation intensifies

In the wake of these arrests, the police are investigating the old connections of the two and other suspicious activities in the locality. It is disturbing that a peaceful town like Rayachoti has become a haven for terrorists.
