Maruti Suzuki: Prices of Maruti Suzuki cars have increased

MarutiSuzuki, the leader in the car sector in India, has once again given bad news to car buyers. Maruti, which has already increased prices once, has recently implemented another hike. This time it has especially affected the popular models Ertiga and Baleno. With the latest hike, the price of Ertiga has increased by 1.4 percent, while that of Baleno has increased by 0.5 percent.

Price hike due to airbag standard feature

It is worth noting that Maruti has revealed the reason for this price hike. The company has clarified that the price hike is due to the introduction of 6 airbags as a standard feature in its cars in order to further improve safety standards. The company stated that this is in accordance with the safety guidelines of the central government and that the safety of the customers' journey is important to them.

New prices have come into effect.

Maruti has already announced that these prices have come into effect. With this, the ex-showroom price of the Baleno premium hatchback car starts at Rs. 6.7 lakh, while the price of the Ertiga starts at Rs. 8.97 lakh. It is known that Maruti has recently increased the prices of other models to some extent. It is believed that this latest increase has increased the burden on the middle class consumers to some extent.
