The consequences that led to the tragedy
Bandhabala Sudhakar (39) of Ramanthapur to KCR Nagar in Medchal Malkajgiri district and Pasala Sushmita (35) of Gandhinagar in Ramanthapur are close relatives.Both of them are brothers-in-law. Due to a twist of fate, both of them got married separately. However, over time, their closeness increased and there are serious disputes in both the families that the illicit relationship is continuing.As this matter worsened day by day, the disputes between the family members increased further. For this reason, her husband filed a case against Sushmita at the Kethepalli police station in Nalgonda district. All these developments deeply upset Sushmita.Unable to bear the pressure of family disputes and cases, Sushmita came to Sudhakar. It is believed that this severe mental distress led to their suicide.Two days ago, Sudhakar and Sushmita were staying at a resort on the outskirts of Kondamadugu, Bibinagar mandal, by renting a room. Yesterday afternoon, both of them decided to commit suicide by consuming pesticide.
Police investigation, case registration
After deciding to commit suicide, Sudhakar made a video call to his brother-in-law Ranjit and told him about it. However, he did not tell them where they were. Ranjit became extremely worried and immediately sought help from the Uppal police. The Uppal police informed the Bibinagar police station. The alerted police traced their location based on the mobile network. The police, who reached the resort on the outskirts of Kondamadugu, broke the doors of the room where they were staying and entered inside. Both Sudhakar and Sushmita were already lying dead. The police have registered a case and intensified the investigation after this incident. The bodies have been shifted to the Bhuvanagiri Area Hospital for postmortem. This unfortunate incident has left both the families in deep grief and shock. The police are investigating the full reasons that led to this suicide. The statements of the family members have been recorded and all angles are being investigated.
