However, in the last half hour, the indices gained ground as buying increased in major stocks like HDFC Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank and ICICI Bank. In the Sensex 30 index, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Asian Paints, Eternal, NTPC and BEL were the top gainers. On the other hand, Titan, Trent, Axis Bank, Maruti Suzuki and Hindustan Unilever suffered losses. The rupee exchange rate is continuing at 85.71 against the dollar. In the international market, the price of a barrel of Brent crude oil is at 69.37 dollars, while the price of an ounce of gold is trading at 3,333 dollars.
