HAM Roads: Don't have any misconceptions about HAM roads.. There will be no toll collection - Minister Komati Reddy Venkata Reddy

Hyderabad: There should be no misconceptions regarding the newly constructed HAM Roads in Telangana, Roads and Buildings Minister Komati Reddy Venkata Reddy said. Speaking to the media in Hyderabad on Thursday, he said that CM Revanth Reddy has paid special attention to HAM Roads and that the cabinet has decided to lay roads with a length of 5,190 km. He explained that efforts are being made to make a tender call for 14 packages by the end of August where there is a need for high traffic .

72 people promoted to E.E.

Komati Reddy said that the work is likely to start by September once CM Revanth Reddy finalizes it. He announced that the second phase will also start in December-January. The R&B department will stand as a role model. He said that after talking to the CM, they have given promotions and postings like never before in R&B.72 people promoted from DE to EEWe have already given postings to 64 people. From these, 29 SEs have been promoted and 181 new A.Es have been recruited through the Public Service Commission. Discussions were held on strengthening the department. I have directed everyone to work well today. We discussed on maintenance of roads. I have ordered to be alert for the rainy season and to be vigilant at bridges and culverts. I have ordered to conduct field level inspections. The minister said that 140 crores will be released this month for road patchwork. He said that we have discussed at length with the E.E.S.Es about every road in the state.

We will meet the Chief Minister for the Regional Ring Road and meet Prime Minister Modi and Union Minister Nitin Nadkar. He expressed hope that the face of Hyderabad and its surroundings will change with the Regional Ring Road. Komatireddy requested KCR to come to the Assembly. He said that if KCR comes, we will discuss all the issues. He said that we have no relation with Harir Rao and KTR. They do not count. He said that KCR and I worked in the movement. He said that it was the Congress party that gave Telangana and Harish Rao Utthi MLA, he said that he is not the Deputy Floor Leader. Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy protested that the opposition leader should come to the Assembly and admit our mistakes.
