Piyush Goyal: Contribute to the development of industrial smart city – CM Revanth

Telangana CM Revanth Reddy met Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush GoyalinDelhi. On this occasion, he appealed to the Centre to fully support the Industrial Smart City being developed in Zaheerabad. He explained that this project will benefit the development of industries in the state and increase employment opportunities.

Discussion on Warangal Airport and Aero-Defense Corridor

The CM, who submitted a memorandum to Minister Goyal on the state's priorities, requested for allocation of funds for the development of Warangal airport. Similarly, he suggested that the Central Government should give its approval and support to the proposed Aero-Defense Corridor between Hyderabad-Bangalore. He said that if this corridor is implemented, Telangana will emerge as the defense industrial hub of South India.

Meetings with several Union Ministers

Before this meeting, CM Revanth Reddy also met with BJP National President JP Nadda. They discussed key issues related to the state. The CM has intensified his efforts to get the necessary cooperation for the development of the state by meeting with central ministers in succession. It seems that he is working towards moving forward in good coordination with the center for the interests of the state.
